Our school grounds were filled with the oinks and grunts of the cutest little pot belly pigs and the moo’s from a cow munching the field grass. The geese honked and the pony neighed as the children ran down in excitement to see the farmyard attractions. The morning was spent learning all about the animals and guessing their sounds. The most amazing part of the day was when the children got to touch and hold the animals. A cuddle with a rabbit and a sweet little guinea pig brought endless smiles. The children then ended the day riding on a pony, who was only too eager to show us his skills. What a wonderful experience this was!
