With yummy Magwinyas in hand and the sound of traditional music in the background, one can only guess what is happening…Heritage Day Celebrations of course! Everywhere you looked one could see beautiful traditional clothing and smell delicious, traditional, homemade treats. There were samoosas, boerewors, chicken feet and even Mopane Worms to be tasted. We made the South African flag with blocks and handprints and danced to traditional songs. Another great day of celebrating our heritages and learning all the different cultures that makes our beautiful country so unique!
