345 CW: – NOTICES 18^th – 22^nd JULY 2016

Welcome back from the half term break.  I hope you had a good rest with some hot chocolate and movies.  The children are all geared up for the next 3 weeks and looking forward to the end of Term 2.

Monday – 18^th July Madiba Day: Letters have been sent out to each class to bring in something to donate to the schools in Tembisa.  Please check your child’s homework/message books.

Saturday 23^rd July 345 Sports day: Parents this is a compulsory school day.  All children must attend.  Letters have been sent out with detailed information regarding the Sports day.  Please check your emails.

Wednesday 3^rd August: Due to the Municipal Voting, it is an official public holiday.  School will be closed on Wednesday 3^rd August and will re-open on Thursday 4^th August. No holiday care on this day.

End of Term 2: School closes on Friday 5^th August at 12:00pm.  Aftercare will continue as usual.

Holiday Care: August Holidays: Holiday care will start on Wednesday, 10^th August from 7:00am-5:30pm.  Letters with reply slips will go out on Monday 18^th July.  If you would like to join Holiday Care, please send in your reply slip.

Charity: Reach for a Dream foundation: As part of the school charity initiative 345 and CHP supports Reach for a Dream.  We will be hosting Slipper Day on Friday 5^th August.  We will be selling the Slipper Day Stickers at school.  Each class teacher has the slipper day stickers.  The cost of a sticker is R10-00. Children who have purchased their sticker can wear their sticker and their slippers to school on Friday, 5^th August.

Water Drive: Kroonstad: The water drive for Kroonstad has ended.  THANK YOU parents for donating bottles of water.

Accounts:  Parents, it is your responsibility to ensure that you pay your school fees by the 7^th of each month.  Please note:  If we do not receive your payment by the 7^th of the month, a late fee penalty of R500-00 will be charged to your account if no prior payment arrangement has been made.   Please email Joanne Bevan if you have any queries:  fees@345.co.za
