NOTICES 20th – 24th MAY 2019
Very Important – Gr 00 Parents: Applications for Grade R 2020 are now open. The admissions contract will be sent home with your child. Please complete the admissions contract and send back to school with the supporting documents. Applications will be closing on Wednesday 31st July 2019. Half Term Break: Parents 345 Nursery school will be closed during the half term break which is 1 week long. School closes on Friday 28th June, aftercare continues as usual on that day. There will be No Holiday Care during this half term break. School re-opens on Monday 8th July at 7:00am.
Winter term: The cold winter days are approaching. Please ensure your child is dressed warmly. If your child is sick, please do not send them to school.
345 Concert: Parents the 345 concert will be held on Saturday 1st June 2019. Invitations have been emailed to all parents. The concert starts at 9:30am. Children must be at school by 8:45am to get dressed.
TICKETS ARE ON SALE: Please purchase your tickets from the office. The tickets cost R60 pp. children under 12 are free. Tickets will also be available for sale on the day.
The CHP / 345 Tuck shop will be open selling a variety of refreshments.
Swimming Parents: Please note that the 3 lessons missed in April will be made up on Friday 17, 24 and 31 May, please remember to pack costumes on those days.
Car Park: You will notice we are currently upgrading the car park. We will soon have a CHP drop and go zone as well as more parking. A letter will be going out with more detail. Please be patient and careful when driving in and out of the carpark while the construction is happening.
345 Swim School – May, June and July: Parents please remember that 345 Swim School remains open and operational during May, June and July. We have made some changes to our heating system to try and ensure that the water temperature remains constant during Winter. We encourage you to allow your children to swim throughout the Winter season.
If you do not want them to swim, please ensure that you give the Swim School 1 months’ notice when cancelling.

Opening Times: Parents, no child may be brought to school or dropped off before 6:30am! The gates will remain closed.
Aftercare: Parents as of the 1st March please note that children waiting for their older sibling to finish an activity will be signed into aftercare and you will be billed. The number of siblings has grown substantially at 345 and CHP and as a school, we are now unable to accommodate and supervise children waiting for siblings to finish their co-curricular activities for free any longer. Therefore, they would need to be collected as soon as they have finished with school or they will be signed into aftercare and cared for.
Swimming: 345 Swim School: If you would like to enrol your child for swimming, please email Karen Visser on fees@carlswaldhouse.co.za
Extra murals: We have Ballet, Karate, Little Kickers, Pottery, Little Lab Coats and Dance Mouse. They completed their demos for your little ones and they have sent their information in your child’s communication books. You must contact the individual activities directly for all information, enrolments and payments.
Accounts: Statements for your June 2019 fees will be emailed on Friday 24th May 2019. Please check your emails as well as your junk/spam folders. If you do not receive your statement, please email Karen Visser at fees@carlswaldhouse.co.za
Please ensure all fees are paid on or before the 7th of the month. Please note: If we do not receive your payment by the 7th of the month, a late fee penalty of R500 will be charged to your account if no prior payment arrangement has been made.
