Dear Parents

Very Important Gr 00 Parents:  Applications for Grade R 2019 are now open.  The admissions contract has been sent home with your child.  Please complete the admissions contract and send back to school with the supporting documents.  Applications will be closing on Tuesday 31^st July 2018.  Thereafter applications will be open to the public.  If you require any further information, please contact Leressa Sebastian on 011 029 0802 or admin@345.co.za

CAR PARK: Parents it has come to our attention that many parents are not being considerate in the school car park.  We understand that the car park is busy, and you are in a hurry in the mornings and the afternoons, but always remember that this is a school and our little people are very precious.

• Please park considerately.
• Please DO NOT sit in the car and hoot for your children.
• You must go in and fetch your child.
• ALWAYS BE PATIENT AND CONSIDERATE

Book Week:  Monday 4^th June- Friday 8^th June

Today is the start of an exciting week for Book Week.  Lots of reading activities planned for the week.

The Book People

The Book People will be visiting on Tuesday 5^th June and Wednesday 6^th June. Times are as follow:

5^th June 2018: 09h00 – 15h00

6^th June 2018: 07h30 – 15h00

Please visit this amazing Book Store, they will be set-up in the IsiZulu classroom.  They stock great books at great prices. We hope to see you all there. Please ensure any money is an envelope marked with your child’s name and grade.

Dress Up:  On Friday 8^th June, all children are invited to dress up as their favourite book character

Father’s Day Tea: Attention all Dads: Please join your little ones for a Father’s Day tea on Thursday 14^th June.  Letters will be sent out with more information.

Holiday Fun Club: During the Mid Term break, Monday 25^th June to Friday 29^th June Holiday Fun Club will run. Letters for the half term Holiday Fun Club have been sent home with your child.   Please respond by sending back the reply slip if your child is going to attend.  All reply slips must be handed in by Monday 11^th June.

Winter term:  The cold winter days are upon us.  Please ensure your child is dressed warmly and all clothes are labelled.  If your child is sick, please do not send them to school.

345 Nursery School Swimming: 345 Swim school will re-open in September.  New enrolments for swimming, please email Mr Anthony Lord with queries regarding swimming lord.a@carlswaldhouse.co.za

Gr 00 Parents Information: Parents, please save the date Saturday 7^th July 9:30am.  This is an information morning to tell you all you need to know about CHP and your child moving into Gr R.  Letters will be sent out with more information.

Extra murals:  We have Ballet, Karate, Little Kickers, Pottery, Little Lab Coats and Dance Mouse. Please contact the individual activities directly for all information, enrolments and payments. 

Accounts: Please ensure all fees are paid on or before the 7^th of the month.   Please note:  If we do not receive your payment by the 7^th of the month, a late fee penalty of R500 will be charged to your account if no prior payment arrangement has been made.   Please email Karen Visser if you have any queries: fees@carlswaldhouse.co.za
