Book week was a fantastic week, the children enjoyed learning about books and how important reading is!! The highlight of the week was to dress up as a favourite book character.  The children went all out, Thank You parents for putting in the effort for your child.  To all the teachers, “Thank You” for all your effort during Book Week.

Very Important Gr 00 Parents:  Applications for Grade R 2019 are now open.  The admissions contract has been sent home with your child.  Please complete the admissions contract and send back to school with the supporting documents.  Applications will be closing on Tuesday 31^st July 2018.  Thereafter applications will be open to the public.  If you require any further information, please contact Leressa Sebastian on 011 029 0802 or admin@345.co.za

CAR PARK: Parents it has come to our attention that many parents are not being considerate in the school car park.  We understand that the carpark is busy, and you are in a hurry in the mornings and the afternoons, but always remember that this is a school and our little people are very precious.

• Please park considerately.
• Please DO NOT sit in the car and hoot for your children.
• You must go in and fetch your child.
• ALWAYS BE PATIENT AND CONSIDERATE

Father’s Day Tea: Attention all Dads: Please join your little ones for a Father’s Day tea on Thursday 14^th June anytime between 07h15 -09h00.  You will do a Father’s Day craft activity with your little one when you drop them at school on Thursday.    There will be some delicious snacks and tea/coffee available for you as well.   Grand Fathers and Uncles can also join if Dad is not available.

Holiday Fun Club: During the Mid Term break, Monday 25^th June to Friday 29^th June Holiday Fun Club will run. Letters for the half term Holiday Fun Club have been sent home with your child.   Please respond by sending back the reply slip if your child is going to attend.  All reply slips must be handed in by Monday 11^th June.

Parent/Teacher Meeting:  Reports will be handed out on Tuesday 19^th June.  Parent / Teacher meetings will be held on Thursday 21^st June from 2:00pm-6:30pm.  Letters will be sent home to setup an appointment.

Winter term:  The cold winter days are upon us.  Please ensure your child is dressed warmly and all clothes are labelled.  If your child is sick, please do not send them to school.

345 Nursery School Swimming: 345 Swim school is closed and will re-open in September.  New enrolments for swimming, please email Mr Anthony Lord with queries regarding swimming lord.a@carlswaldhouse.co.za

Gr 00 Parents Information: Parents, please save the date Saturday 7^th July 9:30am.  This is an information morning to tell you all you need to know about CHP and your child moving into Gr R.  Letters will be sent out with more information.

Extra murals:  We have Ballet, Karate, Little Kickers, Pottery, Little Lab Coats and Dance Mouse. Please contact the individual activities directly for all information, enrolments and payments. 

Accounts:  Statements for your July 2018 fees will be emailed on Friday 22^nd July. Please check your emails as well as your junk/spam folders.  If you did not receive your statement, please email Karen Visser at fees@carlswaldhouse.co.za
