NOTICES  30th July – 3rd August 2018

 

Parents, thank you for your wonderful support at the 345 Sports Day.  It was a wonderful morning and the kids had a blast!

 

VERY IMPORTANT School Fee Structure 2019: Parents, letters regarding the school fee structure for 2019 have been sent.  Please complete the form and send back by Tuesday the 31st July.

 

Very Important Gr 00 Parents:  Applications for Grade R 2019 are now open.  The admissions contract has been sent home with your child.  Please complete the admissions contract and send back to school with the supporting documents.  Applications will be closing on Tuesday 31st July 2018.  Thereafter applications will be open to the public.  If you require any further information, please contact Leressa Sebastian on 011 029 0802 or admin@345.co.za

End of Year Notice: Parents if you are not returning in 2019, please note we require a terms notice.  The monthly notice is not applicable after September if you are not returning in 2019.  Your notice must be given in writing by the 30th September 2018.

End of Winter Term Celebration: We will be hosting Pyjama Day on Friday 3rd of August to celebrate the end of the Winter term and to welcome the August Holidays.  Children will be allowed to wear their pyjamas and slippers to school.  The cost will be R20 per child and they will receive a cup of hot chocolate and a doughnut.  Letters will be sent out closer to the time.

 

End of Term 2: School closes on Friday 3rd August at 11:00am. Please arrange the necessary transport.  Aftercare will continue as usual.

 

Holiday Fun Club: Due to the lack of children wanting to attend  the August  Holiday Fun Club we have decided to cancel it.  Therefore, there will be no Holiday Fun Club at all during the August holiday.

 

Start of Term 3: School re-opens on Tuesday 4th September at 7:00am.

 

Spring Walk 2018: Parents please check your child’s communication book for the spring walk sponsor forms.   We would like the children to get sponsors over the holidays.  Any lost forms will cost R200.

 

CAR PARK: Parents it has come to our attention that some parents are not being considerate in the school car park.  We understand that the carpark is busy and you are in a hurry in the mornings and the afternoons, but always remember that this is a school and our little people are very precious.

  • Please park considerately.
  • Please DO NOT sit in the car and hoot for your children.
  • You must go in and fetch your child.
  • When you are driving out the carpark, please STOP before you exit.

ALWAYS BE PATIENT AND CONSIDERATE

 

Winter Colds/Flu:  Parents if your child is sick, please do not send them to school.  They need to be at home and recover fully before returning to school.  We will need a doctor’s letter when they return if they have been diagnosed with any serious / communicable illness.

345 Nursery School Swimming: 345 Swim school is closed and will re-open in September.  New enrolments for swimming, please email Mr Anthony Lord with queries regarding swimming lord.a@carlswaldhouse.co.za

Extra murals:  We have Ballet, Karate, Little Kickers, Pottery, Little Lab Coats and Dance Mouse. Please contact the individual activities directly for all information, enrolments and payments.

Debit Orders:  Parents letters have been sent home regarding Debit orders.  345 Accounts department is moving onto the debit order system. Please complete the Debit order details and send back.  Debit orders will be going off on the 1st September 2018.
