Opening times: Parents, the school gates open at 06h45. Parents are to please escort their children into the school and sign them in and out in the afternoons.
Parent/Teacher Meetings: These will take place 8th – 11th April. Parents you must please book a time slot with your child’s class teacher.
April Holiday programme: 345 VV will remain open during the Month of April. A holiday programme will be followed during this time. 345 will be closed during the following days:
19th April- Good Friday
22nd April- Family Day
1st May- Workers Day
8th May- Voting Day
345 Swim School – April, May, June and July: Parents please remember that 345 Swim School remains open and operational during April, May, June and July. We have made some changes to our heating system to try and ensure that the water temperature remains constant during Winter. We encourage you to allow your children to swim throughout the Winter season.
If you do not want them to swim, please ensure that you give the Swim School 1 month’s notice when cancelling.
Swimming: For new enrolments for swimming, please email Mrs Karen Visser at fees@carlswaldhouse.co.za. You can collect forms from Sharon in the office. If your child is registered for swimming, please ensure you pack a swimming costume and towel for Monday and Wednesday.
Extra murals: We have Ballet, Karate, Soccer Starz, Pottery, Little Lab Coats. They completed their demos for your little ones and they have sent their information in your child’s communication books. You must contact the individual activities directly for all information, enrolments and payments.
Accounts: All statements for April have been emailed. Please check your email inboxes as well as your Spam and Junk mail. Please ensure all fees are paid on or before the 7th of the month. Please note: If we do not receive your payment by the 7th of the month, a late fee penalty of R500 will be charged to your account if no prior payment arrangement has been made. End of Term 1: School closes Friday 12th April at 11:00am. School re-opens on Tuesday 7th May at 7:00am. Holiday care starts on Monday 15th April.
Tuesday 7 May – Children return to school – Start of the second term
Wednesday 8 May – Nation Elections – Public Holiday
Thursday 9 May – Children and staff back to school again
Mother’s Day Tea: Friday 10th May, letters will be sent home closer to the time.
Slipper Day: Friday 10th May, we will be selling the slipper day wrist bands at R10
